What a week it's been. Last Tuesday marked the first ever Hire Space community event, as London-based PAs and events organisers joined the team for complementary cocktails and canapes at London's Babble City.
First of all, huge thanks to the Babble Team for their hospitality. Professional and welcoming throughout, they thrived in showcasing their brand new summer cocktail menu, which surely has the greatest range of Mojitos in London (the Lemon Drizzle was particularly well spoken of - you heard it here first), and their excellent Christmas party menu, which kept on appearing, to great acclaim, all night. It was a great choice of venue and we're extremely grateful.
When not eating and drinking, the guests were learning about top London venues Hackney Empire and the Whitechapel Gallery, and jumping at the opportunity to join the loyalty scheme at London food masters the Social Pantry. Adding extra glamour to proceedings were Sparkling Wine specialists Grays and Feather, who we'd like to thank again for their generous donation to the night's competition.
All in all an extremely enjoyable evening all round, and an excellent start to Hire Space's events programme.
Venue showcases like these are set to be a regular feature in our calendar, as we look to parade the city's top locations to hungry venue-bookers. With over 700 venues on the website's books, from arches and rooftops to boats and racetracks, there's a lot to show off - and we'll do all we can to ensure people see the lot.
